The automated Material
Handling System consists of an integrated
Bin conveyor system to handle -
Materials carried in bins between
the High-Bay Store and the Production.
Production Work-In-Progress carried
in bins among the Production Areas.
Bin ASRS In-Line Buffers fitted with
flow racks.
A buffer for empty bins.

Bay Bin Handling System and ASRS |
The bins are transported
automatically by continuous conveyor system and
these are stored and retrieved automatically by
stacker cranes. The bin conveyor system transport
bins from the High Bay store area to the production
areas such as ware-wash, equipment and tray assembly.

| Returning
Empty Bins and Glass Baskets |
The empty bins and glass
baskets are returned to the ware-wash area to recycle
the conveyances. The glass baskets are sent to the
inbound areas where the dirty glasses are loaded
into the baskets and then send through the glass
washers. The returned bins are loaded with cleaned
items and are then sent to the production area.

Sorting & Equipment Packing Stations |
Unsorted cutleries are
received and then sorted and packed. The sorted
and packed cutleries are then sent to the Tray Assembly
In-Line Buffers.

Setting Area |
Bins are transported
and stored into specified locations by SMCS. Bin
replenishment from the static rack to the gravity
feed lanes is activated automatically by the SMCS.
